What is the difference between a furnace and a boiler?
A furnace uses a heating source, such as fuel oil, to heat air. The air is sent throughout the home using a fan. Cold air returns to the furnace through return ducts, and the cycle is repeated. Boilers use the fuel to heat water, or to create steam, that circulates to radiators located in various spots in the home. Hot water heat systems use a circulating pump to deliver the hot waer to the radiators and then back to the boiler.
Does Dole Fuel Oil install furnaces?
Yes. We provide delivery and installation services for residential and commercial customers alike.
What is the benefit of installing a High Efficiency furnace?
High Efficiency equipment can reduce your energy bills up to 30%. If your current furnace is over 15 years old, it may be time to replace it. We can run a diagnostic efficiency test on your furnace to determine how cost-effective a new system would be.
